Kobe's Story
Kobe was adopted in September of 2008. He was 77 lbs. with ribs protruding out, heartworm diseased and carried a tick borne disease. He had scars on his body from being tied up outdoors on concrete and had an old broken leg that was never treated properly and left to heal on its own. He had a rough start to say the least.
I wanted a boxer so badly for several years. When the time came, I knew I wanted to rescue a boxer and save him from euthanasia. Kobe came from the Northeastern Boxer Rescue which treated him for his diseases, fixed him and put weight on him. They spent so much money on him and it was possible only because of donations from the kindness of others.
Almost 5 years later, Kobe has remained my best bud and means the world to me. It is time we repay the blessings that were given to him and support a wonderful local humane society that needs our help to help unfortunate pets.
Many of you know, Kobe is now nearly paralyzed in his hips and back legs. I recently purchased a wheel chair making it possible for him to walk again! Will you support Kobe and I in our walk to raise money for dogs who might otherwise have a dismal future?
Please join me in this fundraising effort for the Kitsap Humane Society!
