Kitsap Humane Society is a non-profit charitable organization that has been caring for animals in need since 1908. Our vision is that every adoptable companion animal has a home. We work toward that goal daily through the immediate care and sheltering of thousands of companion animals that are homeless, lost and in need of advocate. 

 
A Word from Julie:

I have the pleasure this year to participate as a volunteer for the Kitsap Humane Society's annual Petswalk event.  This event is for dogs (and several other critters) and their owners to participate in a walk/fundraiser for KHS. There will also be vendors, demonstrations, food, and prizes.  All the proceeds will benefit the animals and programs that help KHS to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home animals.

 For those of you who don't know, I am currently working as the Foster Care Coordinator at the Kitsap Humane Society.  This role has helped open my eyes to the helpless and needy animals who need extra care prior to becoming available for adoption.  Without the time and energy of the foster volunteers and the resources of KHS, most of these animals would never find their way into a home with a loving family.  

This year, I hope to raise $500 for KHS.  I strongly believe in the people and programs that help to make our motto a reality.  We RESCUE, REHABILITATE, and REHOME. But, we can't do it alone.  It's friends and donors that can help us meet the needs of the animals in our care.  If you've ever thought about helping a furry friend in need, now is the time. No amount is too small and every penny is greatly appreciated.

Please help me meet my goal and help the homeless animals of Kitsap County.
