Kitsap Humane Society is a non-profit charitable organization that has been caring for animals in need since 1908. Our vision is that every adoptable companion animal has a home. We work toward that goal daily through the immediate care and sheltering of thousands of companion animals that are homeless, lost and in need of advocate.

Kitsap Humane Society and all the animals that we bring in are near and dear to my heart.  This is an incredible organization.  This Saturday, July 13, is our 20th Annual PetsWALK.  Please consider bringing your dog for a walk ... or donating to support this great cause.

Last week, I brought a very wonderful but somewhat anxious dog home from Kitsap Humane Society - Mork!  We are giving him a shelter break, and enjoying the canine company.  We'll see if he becomes a member of our family ... assuredly of someone's family.  

This is what we so at KHS all year long - rescue, rehabilitate, rehome thousands of pets.
