Kitsap Humane Society has been serving the residents of Kitsap County since 1908. Every year we provide immediate care and shelter to thousands of companion animals who are homeless, lost, ill, and in need of an advocate.  In 2010 alone we re-homed over 4,200 pets! Our spay and neuter program altered around 3,600 animals, helping to drastically reduce pet overpopulation. 

 

Our Mission Statement: The Kitsap Humane Society is an independent non-profit committed to providing positive life-changing solutions to people and companion animals. We do so by:

 Accepting, sheltering, and rehabilitating companion animals in need.

 Providing humane rescue, protection, prevention, adoption, and education services.

 Implementing progressive life-saving and life-affirming programs.

 Creatively collaborating and partnering with our region and supporters to build a model humane community.

Please join me in the fundraising effort for this organization

My passion is animals and animal welfare........whether it be volunteering or trying to find good homes for animals of friends and acquaintances.........
Our animal friends do not have a voice of their own so I choose to be one voice of many speaking up for animals lost, abused and in need. 
Nothing touches my heart more than the knowledge that an animal has been taken in to  a warm and loving home.
I love all animals...domestic and wild and have great respect for all animal and wildlife.
