Every dollar counts. Help your favorite walker reach their fundraising goal!

Kitsap Humane Society has been serving the residents of Kitsap County since 1908. Every year we provide immediate care and shelter to thousands of companion animals who are homeless, lost, ill, and in need of an advocate.  In 2010 alone we re-homed over 4,200 pets! Our spay and neuter program altered around 3,600 animals, helping to drastically reduce pet overpopulation.

Our Mission Statement: The Kitsap Humane Society is an independent non-profit committed to providing positive life-changing solutions to people and companion animals. We do so by:

 Accepting, sheltering, and rehabilitating companion animals in need.

 Providing humane rescue, protection, prevention, adoption, and education services.

 Implementing progressive life-saving and life-affirming programs.

 Creatively collaborating and partnering with our region and supporters to build a model humane community.

Sam Askew's Story
Please join me in the fundraising effort for this organization. Most of you know my story, I have been working for the shelter for the past five years. My Dolce came from an adoption partner of the shelter. And Atticus was adopted from here. I have found my passion here at Kitsap Humane and I would appreciate your help in raising funds to help save lives. When I started here the euthanasia rate was over 40%. We are now at 6%. Please help our work in caring for these animals. Thank you.
