Kitsap Humane Society has been serving the residents of Kitsap County since 1908. Every year we provide immediate care and shelter to thousands of companion animals who are homeless, lost, ill, and in need of an advocate.  In 2010 alone we re-homed over 4,200 pets! Our spay and neuter program altered around 3,600 animals, helping to drastically reduce pet overpopulation. 

 

Our Mission Statement: The Kitsap Humane Society is an independent non-profit committed to providing positive life-changing solutions to people and companion animals. We do so by:

 Accepting, sheltering, and rehabilitating companion animals in need.

 Providing humane rescue, protection, prevention, adoption, and education services.

 Implementing progressive life-saving and life-affirming programs.

 Creatively collaborating and partnering with our region and supporters to build a model humane community.

 

 


 
Jenny & Daisy's Story
Please join me in the fundraising effort for this organization.

I was lucky enough to find Daisy. She is my little dachshund, I found her on craigslist. When I went to see her, it was horrible! She was under weight, had ear mites, fleas, hadn't been bathed and wasn't spayed. I have spent alot of time with her getting her healthy, spayed, we have even gone through a training program! She has come a long way and has become my best friend!

We want to raise as much money as we can, because this event is so much fun! It's important to support your local shelters!! 

It's easy to donate, and only donate what you can! These are hard times, so even $5 helps support the Kitsap Humane Society!!
