Kitsap Humane Society has been serving the residents of Kitsap County since 1908. Every year we provide immediate care and shelter to thousands of companion animals who are homeless, lost, ill, and in need of an advocate.  In 2010 alone we re-homed over 4,200 pets! Our spay and neuter program altered around 3,600 animals, helping to drastically reduce pet overpopulation. 

 

Our Mission Statement: The Kitsap Humane Society is an independent non-profit committed to providing positive life-changing solutions to people and companion animals. We do so by:

 Accepting, sheltering, and rehabilitating companion animals in need.

 Providing humane rescue, protection, prevention, adoption, and education services.

 Implementing progressive life-saving and life-affirming programs.

 Creatively collaborating and partnering with our region and supporters to build a model humane community.

 

 


 
Bree & Grady's Story
Please join me in the fundraising effort for this organization!!

Bree and Grady's story started off on Craigslist where I fell in love with a picture of the most adorable little Golden Retriever puppy in the world.

He looked like a little bear cub and I instantly knew that I had to have him and he was meant to be mine. The rest is history. :)

He goes everywhere with me and is the best companion a girl could ask for and then some! I just love him so much and would do anything to make sure he was happy and healthy which is why the Humane Society has such a big place in my heart since they do the same for stray/surrendered animals.

The Kitsap Humane Society is a fabulous organization and it is where I have had both my cats spayed and will eventually get Grady neutered when he is old enough.

They have low cost programs for people who make under $40,000 a year which I think is amazing!

Everything they do at the Humane Society is to benefit animals and since they are a NO KILL shelter they could use all the help that they can get since it is very expensive to keep an animal for long periods of time and feed/shelter them so please help my by donating and sponsoring me and Grady on our walk to help the Kitsap Humane Society!! :)
