Jennifer Buchanan-Springer's Story
Please join me in the fundraising effort for the Kitsap Humane Society's annual Petswalk. I just recently adopted a dog named Bambam from the Humane Society. He has been a wonderful addition to my family. I found out about the Petswalk shortly after that and decided it would be a great way to show my appreciation for the services they are providing to our community by joining the walk to help raise money and awairness for all they do for our community. Without them we would have never adopted most of the cats and dogs we have owned over the last 20 years or so. Bambam made me realize how much they do to help animals find a new home that will love and care for them. When I adopted him the volunteer told me that his previous owner had only had him two months and could no longer take care of him. The volunteer said it mite have been because he had bad teeth. So the humane society removed 6 of his teeth to help make him more adoptable instead of just leaving them that way. He still needs some extra care for his teeth but he is so worth it.
