 Thanks to supporters like you, we are able to provide positive life-changing solutions to people and companion animals.
 In 2012, Kitsap Humane Society rehomed 4,586 pets and completed 2,950 spay/neuter surgeries! Our life-saving efforts would not be possible without your help. 


Kitsap Humane Society is a non-profit charitable organization that has been caring for animals in need since 1908. Our vision is that every adoptable companion animal has a home. We work toward that goal daily through the immediate care and sheltering of thousands of companion animals that are homeless, lost and in need of advocate. 

Rescue. Rehabilitate. Rehome. 
 
Kristin's story:
 
As an employee of Kitsap Humane Society, the shelter is my second home. And the animals that come and go are my extended family.

Every day I get to be a part of not only improving but also saving the lives of the dozens of animals in the shelter's care at any one time.

Without contributions from animal lovers in the local community – and beyond – the great work at Kitsap Humane Society would not be possible.
