Thanks to supporters like you, we are able to provide positive life-changing solutions to people and companion animals.
In 2012, Kitsap Humane Society rehomed 4,586 pets and completed 2,950 spay/neuter surgeries! Our life-saving efforts would not be possible without your help.

Kitsap Humane Society is a non-profit charitable organization that has been caring for animals in need since 1908. Our vision is that every adoptable companion animal has a home. We work toward that goal daily through the immediate care and sheltering of thousands of companion animals that are homeless, lost and in need of advocate.

Rescue. Rehabilitate. Rehome.

Love-a-Bulls's Story:
We are the proud owners of three canine kids! Although initially it wasn't planned this way, all our kids are classified as "bully" breeds. Sookie is an American Pit Bull Terrier; Harley is a Rottweiler mix and Bruce is a Rottweiler. Now, we try as much as possible to get our kids out into the community to educate people and show them that, despite bad reputations, "bully" breeds can be the most love able and well behaved family dogs!
Two of our three kids came from the Kitsap Humane Society (Sookie and Harley). Bruce was rescued from another family who was not taking care of him
