In 2012, Kitsap Humane Society rehomed 4,586 pets and completed 2,950 spay/neuter surgeries! Our life-saving efforts would not be possible without your help.

Kitsap Humane Society is a non-profit charitable organization that has been caring for animals in need since 1908. Our vision is that every adoptable companion animal has a home. We work toward that goal daily through the immediate care and sheltering of thousands of companion animals that are homeless, lost and in need of advocate.

Mandy Avila's Story

Hello,
My name is Mandy Avila and I am currently employed at the Kitsap Humane Society 5 days a week. I have only been working at the Humane Society for about 3 weeks, but already feel like I have found my true calling. Everyday I go happily to work, knowing that I am making a difference in many beautiful animal's lives. I am so proud to be part of a team that is so dedicated and loving.

Animals are precious gifts to the world and it's very saddening that so many don't get the chance at a wonderful life that they deserve being loved and cherished, but here at the Humane Society, all of my co workers and myself strive to ensure that they find a amazing home that is life long and full of love.

Please be part of this dedication to help all of these glorious creatures...thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
