 Thanks to supporters like you, we are able to provide positive life-changing solutions to people and companion animals.
 In 2012, Kitsap Humane Society rehomed 4,586 pets and completed 2,950 spay/neuter surgeries! Our life-saving efforts would not be possible without your help. 


Kitsap Humane Society is a non-profit charitable organization that has been caring for animals in need since 1908. Our vision is that every adoptable companion animal has a home. We work toward that goal daily through the immediate care and sheltering of thousands of companion animals that are homeless, lost and in need of advocate.

  Advice from a six year old on why dogs have a short life:
"People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life …. Like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right? Well, dogs already know how to do that when they're born, so they don't have to stay as long."
