Come have fun at PetsWalk on July 12 ... and
support the Eric Stevens Mork Team

Mork has a secure home and a loving family thanks to Kitsap Humane Society.  But a year ago, Mork's life and future were uncertain when he came back to the Shelter for the 4th time.

Mork is not unlike thousands of other animals who are Rescued, Rehabilitated and Rehomed by KHS each year.

To celebrate our mission and make our work more visible to the public, we are holding our Annual PetsWalk event this year on July 12 in downtown Poulsbo.  I invite you to come out with or without your pet to walk, run and or view our Pet Parade.  And if you can make a small contribution, you will help me reach my goal to raise money for the homeless animals at KHS.

What is PetsWALK?

PetsWALK is a unique, annual community event promoting good health and great fun while bringing people and their pets together to raise money for the animals of Kitsap Humane Society.

When is PetsWALK?

Saturday, July 12, 2014 -- 9:00am - 1:00pm (Starting line is at 6th Ave. and NE Harrison (just north of Lions Park). Race/walk will finish at Waterfront Park in Downtown Poulsbo.)

Walk, hop, skip or run for Kitsap Humane Society animals.

All proceeds from this event help homeless animals at the Kitsap Humane Society. Individuals and groups can make a real difference with pledges and donations. With as little as $30, you can earn some great prizes:

They Don’t Need Much, But They Do Need You

You help when you adopt an animal, when you attend and support one of our special events, and when your generous donation arrives to support the animals at KHS. Most important, you give them all hope for a future full or love and happiness.

What is the power of your gift?

· $30 is the average cost of an animal’s care for one day at the shelter.

· $75 will support one spay/neuter surgery.

· $150 would give an animal in need of behavioral rehabilitation 3 hours with a trainer.

· $210 is enough to support the care for a kitten at our shelter for one week.

· $250  could support the cost of one medical procedure to help save an animal’s life

· $500 will pay for the medicine needed to treat a sick animal for one week.

· $900 would cover the expenses for an animal at our shelter for one month.
